Hideaway Circus Brings “Canvas Sky” to Wilton
The Wilton Parks and Recreation Department is thrilled to announce that Hideaway Circus will be performing their newest production, Canvas Sky, at the Comstock Community Center on June 7 at 7:30pm, June 8 at 4pm and 7:30pm, and June 9 at 2pm. For those who enjoyed this company’s show “Stars Above” last summer, please note that the show dates this year are happening several weeks earlier.
Canvas Sky is an outdoor show that tells the story of a clown struggling to find his place in a circus troupe. With help from an unexpected friend, he finds his voice in a tale that celebrates self-acceptance and the power to uplift. The narrative is told through circus arts, original music and a contemporary storyline, brought to you by ten world class performers and a team of award-winning designers. The production takes place on a custom-built circular stage and aerial rig, offering a unique, open-air experience for all ages.
Three tiers of seating are available: General Admission, where spectators can bring their own portable chair or blanket; Premium Seating, providing a comfortable outdoor spectator lawn chair; and the VIP Experience, which offers center-front seating with the most comfortable chairs.
